Wilmington, Delaware—Bayard litigation director Ian D. McCauley is scheduled to speak at the 2024 DSBA Women and the Law Retreat held in Dewey Beach, Delaware on April 4, 2024. Ian will join a panel of full-time eDiscovery professionals to discuss recent case law and best practices related to document preservation, collection, spoliation, and sanctions.

Ian leads Bayard’s eDiscovery practice and is a sought-after speaker.  He routinely consults with clients on document preservation and collection strategies; negotiates with opposing parties regarding the scope of document collection, review, and production; crafts strategy on how best to respond to non-party subpoenas; manages large-scale reviews of ESI for both internal investigative and litigation purposes; and argues discovery-related motions in the various Delaware courts.
