Bayard’s Ian McCauley Scheduled to Moderate DSBA Panel on AI & eDiscovery
Wilmington, Delaware— On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Ian D. McCauley, the leader of Bayard’s eDiscovery practice, will moderate a panel titled Artificial Intelligence and eDiscovery at a CLE, sponsored by the Technology and the Law section of the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA). Ian’s session will explore the development, impact and potential uses of generative AI across various eDiscovery tasks.
There will be two additional panels on AI topics featured during the CLE. Both Delaware and Pennsylvania credits are available, and the CLE is eligible for 3.0 hours in Enhanced Ethics.

As the Secretary of the Technology and the Law section of the DSBA, Ian is a recognized thought leader and speaks often on eDiscovery and technology related topics in law. He routinely consults with clients on document preservation and collection strategies; negotiates with opposing parties regarding the scope of document collection, review, and production; crafts strategies on how best to respond to non-party subpoenas; manages large-scale reviews of ESI for both internal investigative and litigation purposes; and argues discovery-related motions in the various Delaware courts.
