Bayard Family Law Group Sponsors 6th Annual SL24 Memorial Classic for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention
Wilmington, Delaware- February 2nd and 3rd marked the 6th annual SL24 Memorial Classic for the Unlocke the Light Foundation. Bayard’s Family Law Group has sponsored the basketball tournament since its inception in 2019 and is proud to continue shining light on its mission.
The event, which took place in Wilmington, Delaware at the Chase Fieldhouse raised $604,524 for the foundation.
The Unlocke the Light movement has three main objectives which include educating high school and college students about depression, removing the stigma of depression, and making resources available to young people who struggle with depression and the possible threat of suicide. SL24 Foundation’s goal to open “Sean’s House” as a safe haven for high school and college students struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide came to fruition in September 24, 2020.
