Wilmington, Delaware- Bayard’s Family Law Group sponsored the 5th annual SL24 Memorial Classic “UnLocke the Light” basketball tournament, which was held February 3rd & 4th in Wilmington, Delaware at the Chase Fieldhouse.  The event raised over $500,000 to support the mission of the Unlocke the Light Foundation. To date, the foundation has raised $1.6 million dollars to shine light on mental health and suicide prevention among high school and college students.

The UnLocke the Light movement has three main objectives which include educating high school and college students about depression, removing the stigma of depression, and making resources available to young people who struggle with depression and the possible threat of suicide.  SL24 Foundation’s goal to open “Sean’s House” as a safe haven for high school and college students struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide came to fruition in September 24, 2020.
