Wilmington, Delaware- Evan Miller is scheduled to speak on a live Strafford video webinar CLE on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm EDT. The seminar, Partnership and LLC Bankruptcies: Unique Legal Issues and Recent Case Law Developments. Evan will be joined by William Smelko, a partner at Procopio Cory Hargreaves & Savitch. Together, they will address the unique features of partnership and LLC entity bankruptcies concerning bankruptcy filings and proceedings.

The speakers will set out to answer questions including:

• Who has the authority to put a general or limited partnership, a limited liability partnership, or an LLC into bankruptcy?
• What does the Bankruptcy Code provide as far as litigating claims against insolvent partnerships, especially with respect to insiders and avoidance suits?
• What conflicts of interest does a general partner have in personally filing for bankruptcy or deciding whether to put a partnership or a partnership-like entity into bankruptcy?

Participants who attend the seminar will receive 1.5 CLE credits*.
